A leafless tree
lights in the distance
they both have one thing in common
though they look close together
when you look from afar
still they are far from each other
completely alone
left for them selves
waiting for the world to change
Whether it does hurt them or not
nobody ever asked
But then again
who ever asks
if something looks fine -
at least from the outside?
